The Museum of the Albemarle will host Summer Fun Day: Archaeology 101 on Wednesday, Jun. 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Put your video games down and get dirty—become an archaeologist for the day! Dig into the past like an archaeologist by conducting an excavation and learning the scientific methods of identifying, labeling, and cleaning artifacts. Participate in fun hands-on activities with the tools of the trade. Preregistration is required for groups of 10 or more.
